Osteoporosis Canada invites you to an evening of food and fun! October 20th is World Osteoporosis Day. In 2006, the first Bone Appetit Day was held to not only acknowledge the day but to raise awareness to Osteoporosis Canada itself. Since our first event the event has grown into an annual fundraiser that people have been flocking to. The challenge should these chefs choose to accept will be for each chef to prepare dishes that showcase "bone friendly" foods: those high in calcium and vitamin D. This high-end cocktail reception will feature 15-minute live demonstration by each of the four featured chefs, a tasting of each dish, open bar, a silent auction, entertainment and, of course, great food.
